ADOPTION PROGRAMS

Compassionate Care offers a well established international adoption program, with bilingual facilitators in eight different countries. These include China, Estonia, Guatemala, Haiti, Kazakhstan,  Russia and Ukraine. Since 1989, the agency has placed many children who are now blessed with families of their own. We continue to seek Christian families for the thousands of children who need the love and care of a family. Our waiting list is short, and families can be readily matched with infants or older children. Compassionate Care's  years of experience and expert staff assure you of finding your child.

We invite you to  call us at 800-749-4153 or 812-749-4152  to speak to one of our friendly adoption specialists. We will help you begin the journey to find your child.

There is no shortage of children if you wish to adopt internationally.  Currently  there are many orphans throughout the world who desperately need good homes with loving parents.

We, here at Compassionate Care, are entirely committed to joining together these wonderful children with good Christian parents.  Our staff will work diligently with you to make your dream of adopting possible by helping you through every aspect of the adoption process.  Our  agency prides itself in the efficiency with which we process applications and prepare our adoptive parents.

Compassionate Care has established close working relationships with a team of professional agents abroad that are reputable, honest, efficient and highly committed to their placement programs. They work with reliable orphanages, known for providing the best available care for their children. While traveling to the child's country of origin, our clients are escorted to all adoption-related activities by these foreign agents and/or their representatives. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the adoption process remains on track, and  that the traveling families are kept informed and safe at all times.

Each country has its own  unique set of laws governing foreign adoptions.  Each country has its own methods for you to identify and select your child.   You do not need to select a country prior to starting your adoption paperwork.

Although the time frame for an international adoption varies as much as the procedures themselves, a normal time frame from the beginning of the adoption process until you receive your child is approximately six to ten  months. Please be aware that these timeframes are subject to change for reasons beyond our control. Some situations that may prolong the process include but are not limited to changes in regulations without prior warning and the courts closing for local holidays.  Each country determines its own procedures and these may differ greatly from country to country.   Therefore, it is important to remain flexible and to not be alarmed by minor delays.

For more information on each individual country please click on one of the links to the right.  You may also request that one of our  FREE INFORMATION PACKETS be sent to you.
