ABOUT OUR AGENCY

Compassionate Care General Baptist Family and Children's Ministries, Inc. is a non-profit 501(c)(3) Christian agency sponsored by General Baptists. We are licensed by the State of Indiana as a child placing agency accredited to assist families throughout the USA who wish to adopt and to perform adoption home studies for Indiana residents.

We have been placing children for domestic adoption since 1989 and international adoptions since 1997.

Our goal and mission is to provide counseling for families where there is a crisis pregnancy and adoption services for couples who wish to adopt.  We coordinate both international adoptions and when available domestic adoptions.

The services we offer are meant to protect and enhance life. We believe that the life of a child, born or unborn, is precious and sacred from the very beginning.

To accomplish our mission and enhance the lives of others Compassionate Care provides the following services to families and children in need.

ADOPTION SERVICES

We help couples, single men and single women from all over the United States to adopt internationally and when available domestically.

We coordinate both international adoptions and domestic adoptions and educate interested families on adoption procedures.

We provide home studies and Post-Placement services for both international adoptions and domestic adoptions.

We locate and place in caring, loving Christian homes adoptable children from China, Estonia, Guatemala, Haiti, Kazakhstan , Russia, Ukraine and when available, from the United States.

We counsel families who are gong through the challenges of adoption.

We act as a liaison between our families, International Countries and the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (INS)

HOME STUDY & POST PLACEMENT SERVICES

Compassionate Care provides home study and post placement services to families within the State of Indiana.

We employ a Licensed Clinical Social Worker highly experienced in preparing home studies and post placement reports for international and domestic adoptions.

Compassionate Care is a licensed agency you can trust to handle all your home study needs.

CRISIS PREGNANCY COUNSELING

We offer healthy alternatives to birth mothers who are thinking about abortion.

We help the birth mother by supporting her efforts to continue her pregnancy while simultaneously providing for her child’s future and her own life. We find a Christian family to care for her baby if she so chooses to place her baby for adoption

We provide free of charge to birth parents all pre- and post-placement counseling and all legal services associated with placing a child for adoption.

We network with area shelters and centers when the birth mother's needs are beyond our resources.

We offer counseling for those who are suffering from post-abortion syndrome.

FAMILY & PERSONAL COUNSELING

We employ a full-time Doctor of Ministry Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Social worker who will schedule appointments as needed.
We offer personality profiling to help people better understand themselves and their emotions.
We network with area shelters and centers when the problems of addiction and abuse call for assistance beyond our resources.
